Chronology
- Dapple, Burn, Hopper and Wind join Elyas while he talks with Perrin and Egwene. (TEotW,Ch23)
- Perrin, Egwene and Elyas travel southeast accompanied by Dapple, Hopper and Wind. (TEotW,Ch25)
- Dapple continues to follow the Tinkers, but Burn and Wind are becoming more reluctant. Hopper follows Dapple. (TEotW,Ch27)
- Hopper and Wind are wounded by attacking ravens. (TEotW,Ch29)
- Dapple, Wind and Hopper avoid the Whitecloaks when they approach. Hopper kills one of the Whitecloaks when he attacks Perrin. Another Whitecloak kills Hopper. (TEotW,Ch30)
- Hopper meets Perrin in the wolf dream. He warns Perrin of extreme danger and finally attacks him to force him out. (TDR,Ch9)
- In the wolf dream Hopper tries to protect Perrin from Egwene not knowing she is a friend. (TDR,Ch27)
- In a dream, Hopper takes Perrin to observe Ba'alzamon and Lanfear. Perrin asks him about wolves and dreams. Hopper tries to explain, but cannot. (TDR,Ch36)
- Perrin has two more wolf dreams, but both times Hopper chases him away saying he is too young. (TDR,Ch41)
- Perrin again meets Hopper in the wolf dream. He asks Hopper to explain things but gets no good answer. He tells Hopper about the Gray Men and Darkhounds and Hopper says the Last Hunt is coming. (TDR,Ch43)
- Perrin follows Faile into the hedgehog trap and meets Hopper. Hopper agrees to help him find Faile. (TDR,Ch53)
- Hopper and Perrin hunt for Faile in the Stone of Tear. (TDR,Ch54)
- Hopper and Perrin find Faile and free her. (TDR,Ch55)
- Hopper meets Perrin in the wolf dream. He tells Perrin about Slayer and the Tower of Ghenjei. (TSR,Ch28)
- As Perrin searches for Faile in the wolf dream, Hopper comes and tells Perrin he must go back to the real world or die. (WH,Ch5)
