Baerlon is a town in far west [Andor]. To the west are the [Mountains of Mist]. There are three major roads. One leads south to [Taren Ferry] and the [Taren River]. One leads west to the mountains. The third leads east and southeast to [Whitebridge]. The primary industry of Baerlon is the Baerlon Ironworks where much of the iron ore mined in the [Mountains of Mist] is smelted.

A log wall, nearly twenty feet tall, surrounds the town, with wooden watchtowers scattered along its length. Farms lie scattered about the town, thickest to the north while only a few break the forest to the south.
