He has black hair and is above average height. He has the dark face, tilted eyes, hooked nose and high cheekbones of a [Saldaean|Saldaea]. He looks about thirty-five. They hear voices past the door and one of them is Taim. They try to fight but a weave brings the earthen ceiling pouring down on them. ([AMoL,Ch4])
