* Rand and [Mat|Mat (TV)] talk to [Dana|Dana (TV)] about a room for the night. Rand ends up chopping wood and [Mat|Mat (TV)] serves drinks. ([Episode 103])
* [Dana|Dana (TV)] comes out to check on [Rand|Rand (TV)]'s progress and see that he's chopped more than enough to earn a room with a real roof. ([Episode 103])
* [Dana|Dana (TV)] and [Rand|Rand (TV)] are chatting in his room. She gets up and walks to the door, then shuts and locks it. She asks him "was it the hair?" and says it made her look too much like [Egwene|Egwene (TV)]. [Rand|Rand (TV)] tries to get his sword, but [Dana|Dana (TV)] gets it first. She holds him at swords-length and says that she's waiting for [Mat|Mat (TV)] because she needs him also. [Rand|Rand (TV)] starts pounding on the door. ([Episode 103])
* Rand breaks the door down and runs away. He sees [Mat|Mat (TV)] and they start running, with [Dana|Dana (TV)] in pursuit, holding Rand's sword. She corners them and explains that the [Dark One|ShaiTan] wants them to join him in the breaking of the [Wheel|Wheel of Time]. [Thom|Thom (TV)] throws a dagger from behind her and she falls dead. He tells Rand and [Mat|Mat (TV)] that he's headed east and they decide to join him. ([Episode 103])
* [Mat|Mat (TV)] and Rand stop for a moment. They talk about [Thom|Thom (TV)]'s trustworthiness. Rand wonders if [Thom|Thom (TV)] killed [Dana|Dana (TV)] just to get them to trust him more. ([Episode 104])
* [Thom|Thom (TV)], [Mat|Mat (TV)] and Rand have dismounted and are scouting a farm. [Thom|Thom (TV)] says that they'll wait until dark to sneak into the barn, sleep the night, and then be away before they're discovered. [Master Grinwell|Master Grinwell (TV)] appears with a drawn bow. Rand explains that they just wanted to sleep the night there. He surmises that [Master Grinwell|Master Grinwell (TV)] doesn't want to kill them because he's holding his bow wrong. ([Episode 104])
* [Mat|Mat (TV)] and Rand are mucking out the stalls while [Thom|Thom (TV)] is sipping tea. ([Episode 104])
* [Thom|Thom (TV)] tells Rand the story of his nephew [Owyn|Oywn (TV)]. [Thom|Thom (TV)] tells him that they have to keep [Mat|Mat (TV)] away from the [Red Ajah]. ([Episode 104])
* [Mat|Mat (TV)] and Rand are sleeping in the barn. Rand sits up and reminds [Mat|Mat (TV)] that he's here for him no matter what happens. ([Episode 104])
* Rand is dreaming. [Perrin|Perrin (TV)] is hammering on a covered body. [Mat|Mat (TV)] walks by with blood covered hands. [Egwene|Egwene (TV)] calls out to Rand but then the man with the burning eyes and mouth comes up from behind and grabs [Egwene|Egwene (TV)]. Rand wakes up. ([Episode 104])
* Rand and [Thom|Thom (TV)] rush into the Grinwell's house. They first see [Mistress Grinwell|Mistress Grinwell (TV)] and her son dead on the floor. In the next room, they see [Master Grinwell|Master Grinwell (TV)] also dead. They then see [Mat|Mat (TV)] standing with his back to them. [Thom|Thom (TV)] is set to grab [Mat|Mat (TV)], but then [Mat|Mat (TV)] raises his hand, which is holding the [ruby dagger|Ruby Dagger], and points into the dark upstairs area. He says "I see you" and a [Fade]'s face appears out of the shadows. [Thom|Thom (TV)] fights the [Fade] as Rand and [Mat|Mat (TV)] run outside. They see [Helga|Helga Grinwell (TV)]'s body out there, but Rand urges [Mat|Mat (TV)] to continue on. They get on their horses and ride off. ([Episode 104])
* Rand and [Mat|Mat (TV)] are walking with other people on a path to [Tar Valon]. He sees a [mountain|Dragonmount] in the distance and says that he thinks he's seen it before. ([Episode 105])

* Rand and [Mat|Mat (TV)] head for an inn that [Thom|Thom (TV)] told Rand about, [The Light's Blessing|The Lights Blessing], and get a room. ([Episode 105])
* Rand is in a library and he meets [Loial|Loial (TV)]. Rand sees [Mat|Mat (TV)] walking on the street below and excuses himself to go catch up with [Mat|Mat (TV)]. ([Episode 105])
* Rand is walking down the street trying to spot [Mat|Mat (TV)]. He finally sees him on a balcony and goes up to join him. ([Episode 105])
* While up on the balcony after [Logain|Logain (TV)] has passed by, [Mat|Mat (TV)] and Rand make a deal with each other that if either of them start to [channel|One Power] then the other one won't let him end up like [Logain|Logain (TV)]. ([Episode 105])
* [Loial|Loial (TV)] knocks on Rand's door and then enters. [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (TV)] comes barging into the room. ([Episode 105])
* Rand and [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (TV)] are in the hallway outside the room. [Rand|Rand (TV)] tells her that he thinks [Mat|Mat (TV)] can channel. [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (TV)] tells him the story of [Egwene|Egwene (TV)] having breakbone fever as a child. ([Episode 105])

Rand, obviously expecting [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (TV)], is surprised that it's [Moiraine|Moiraine (TV)] and [Lan|Lan (TV)] and surprised that [Moiraine|Moiraine (TV)] is alive. [Moiraine|Moiraine (TV)] starts towards [Mat|Mat (TV)] and Rand draws his sword, which causes [Lan|Lan (TV)] to get between the two. [Lan|Lan (TV)] disarms Rand shortly thereafter. [Moiraine|Moiraine (TV)] proceeds to [channel|One Power] the blackness from [Mat|Mat (TV)] and into the dagger, with [Lan|Lan (TV)] and Rand holding [Mat|Mat (TV)] down. ([Episode 106])
* Rand and [Moiraine|Moiraine (TV)] are standing on a balcony outside the room and he thanks her for saving [Mat|Mat (TV)] and that he saw the darkness moving over her. They talk about whether [Mat|Mat (TV)] is the Dragon. ([Episode 106])

A flash of lightning shows a [Trolloc] jumping onto the island. With a instinctive [channeling|One Power] of the [One Power], the [Trolloc] is sent back over the edge to plummet forever. * [Machin Shin] tells Rand: [Egwene|Egwene (TV)] will never love you as much a you love her. She left you once and she'll do it again. ([Episode 107])

! The Eye of the World
* Rand and [Moiraine|Moiraine (TV)] enter the [Blight] in order to get to the [Eye of the World]. ([Episode 107])
* [Moiraine|Moiraine (TV)] and Rand are walking through the [Blight] when they encounter a rotting corpse. [Moiraine|Moiraine (TV)] explains that boys from the [Borderlands] like to test themselves against the [Blight] without realizing how dangerous it is. ([Episode 108])
* [Moiraine|Moiraine (TV)] and Rand are walking through the [Blight] when they see the remains of the Seven Towers of [Malkier]. [Moiraine|Moiraine (TV)] says that they can rest here for a half hour. Rand says that the Seven Towers look like they've been that way for 1,000 years, but [Moiraine|Moiraine (TV)] says forty at the most. ([Episode 108])
* Rand and the [Dark One|ShaiTan] have a conversation in Rand's dream. ([Episode 108])
* Rand asks [Moiraine|Moiraine (TV)] what her plan is. Rand asks [Moiraine|Moiraine (TV)] if she thought the Dragon Reborn was going to be [Egwene|Egwene (TV)]. She doesn't respond, but he says that he thought so as well. ([Episode 108])
* Rand asks [Moiraine|Moiraine (TV)] if she can teach him to [channel|One Power], but she says that she can't and that every time he touches the [Source|True Source], the closer to madness he will get. ([Episode 108])

* Rand's memory has pieces of what happened at the [Eye of the World]. He remembers that as [Lews Therin|Lews Therin Telamon (TV)] he fought the [Dark One|ShaiTan]. He remembers the [Aes Sedai] symbol in the center of the floor and kneels down to touch it. ([Episode 108])
* Rand finds himself in a house. He hears a woman and a baby outside. When he goes outside, he sees [Egwene|Egwene (TV)] playing with a baby. It looks like the house is in the [Two Rivers]. ([Episode 108])
* Rand begins to not trust that what he sees is reality. He asks [Egwene|Egwene (TV)] what they carved into a tree when they ran away together as children. She responds with "Our place. For this life and the next. Forever," which was the correct answer. He accepts that it's really her, but the whole scene freezes moments later and the [Dark One|ShaiTan] approaches them. He tells Rand that he can remake the world in his image and that he can show Rand how. ([Episode 108])
* The [Dark One|ShaiTan] is giving instructions to Rand, telling him to empty himself of all feelings and turn them into want. To want everything so much that it turns into reality. Rand starts [channeling|One Power]. ([Episode 108])
* Rand is now [channeling|one Power] into [Moiraine|Moiraine (TV)]'s [sa'angreal|Angreal]. The [Dark One|ShaiTan] tells him to stop, to make the world how he wants. Rand asks about what [Egwene|Egwene (TV)] wants and then releases the [Power|One Power] in the [sa'angreal|Angreal] into the [Dark One|ShaiTan], destroying him and cracking the symbol on the floor. ([Episode 108])
* Rand says that he felt the madness when he [channeled|one Power] so he's going to go away and he wants her to tell everyone else that he's dead. ([Episode 108])
