No one will give them a straight answer on what happened. The ''[Spray]'' left the day before. A woman tells them there was a gleeman on board and they wonder if it was [Thom|Thom Merrilin]. They enter the [The Wayfarer's Rest|The Wayfarers Rest] and order a meal. [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] smiles saying two of the boys were there. She decides to go after the one she can feel to the north. [Lan|al'Lan Mandragoran] can still smell the [Fade]. [Nynaeve|Nynaeve alMeara] asks about [Egwene|Egwene alVere] and [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] says she will not give up on her either. They finish their meal and leave heading east.
