[Nynaeve|Nynaeve alMeara] and [Elayne|Elayne Trakand] arrive at [Salidar] with [Birgitte|Birgitte Trahelion], [Marigan], [Areina|Areina Nermasiv], [Nicola|Nicola Treehill], [Thom|Thom Merrilin], [Juilin|Juilin Sandar], [Uno|Uno Nomesta] and the other [Shienarans|Shienar]. They have a cheerful reunion with [Min|Min Farshaw]. They are met by [Phaedrine] of the [Brown Ajah] who hustles them to the inn to meet with [Sheriam|Sheriam Bayanar] and the other leaders, [Anaiya], [Beonin|Beonin Marinye], [Carlinya], [Morvrin] and [Myrelle|Myrelle Berengari]. [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] and [Leane|Leane Sharif] are also there. [Nynaeve|Nynaeve alMeara] is very curious about their stilling.[1] They tell the [Aes Sedai] that most of their treasures were gifts from [Amathera|Amathera Aelfdene Casmir Lounault]. The [Aes Sedai] are very disturbed by the %%ot [a'dam|aDam]%% and the [seal|Seals], which is now broken. They did not know that [Elaida|Elaida do Avriny aRoihan] already knows about [Salidar]. They are intrigued by the [twisted ring], [amber plaque] and [iron disc]. [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] says [Verin|Verin Mathwin] never told her about the [twisted ring]. They are intrigued by the possibility of %%ot [Tel'aran'rhiod|TelAranRhiod]%%. They also learn of the [Aiel] [dreamwalkers|TelAranRhiod] and that they can talk with [Egwene|Egwene alVere]. Through her they can communicate with [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] and thus influence [Rand|Rand alThor]. They are angry that [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] did not tell them about sending the girls after the [Black Ajah], but they agree that the girls should not be punished. They let the girls keep the [silver arrow].[2] [Sheriam|Sheriam Bayanar] tells [Nynaeve|Nynaeve alMeara] and [Elayne|Elayne Trakand] that their first duty is to teach her and the others to enter %%ot [Tel'aran'rhiod|TelAranRhiod]%%, then sends them away. In the common room of the inn they rejoin the others. [Birgitte|Birgitte Trahelion] and [Min|Min Farshaw][3] are playing with [Marigan]'s sons, [Jaril] and [Seve]. Two of [Myrelle|Myrelle Berengari]'s [Warder], [Croi Makin] and [Avar Hachami], stand guard. [Faolain|Faolain Orande] confronts them. She was [novice|novices] for eight years and [Accepted] for five more. [Faolain|Faolain Orande] and [Emara] were severely punished for taunting [Siuan|Siuan Sanche]. She takes [Areina|Areina Nermasiv] and [Nicola|Nicola Treehill] to be tested for [channeling|True Source] potential. As she leaves, [Min|Min Farshaw] squints at her and says:

* "A nasty woman. You'd think, if there was any justice, she would have an unpleasant future ahead of her."[4]

They discuss whether they should stay or try to sneak away. [Uno|Uno Nomesta] says that [Ragan] has already found some horses they can take. [Nynaeve|Nynaeve alMeara] sees three of the [Yellow Ajah], [Therva Maresis], [Nisao Dachen] and [Dagdara Finchey], and wants to stay so she can learn more of [Healing|Weaves]. A [Warder] talks with [Nisao|Nisao Dachen].[5] [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] and [Leane|Leane Sharif] enter from the back room, look angrily at each other, and head in opposite directions.[6] [Gareth Bryne] enters. He and [Elayne|Elayne Trakand] greet each other rather coolly. [Bryne|Gareth Bryne] asks [Uno|Uno Nomesta] and the [Shienarans|Shienar] to join his army and they agree. He then asks [Thom|Thom Merrilin] to join him in a game of stones and they leave.[7] [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] tells them to find [Theodrin|Theodrin Dabei] who will get them settled. She stops [Nynaeve|Nynaeve alMeara] and takes her upstairs. [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] wants [Nynaeve|Nynaeve alMeara] to let her use the [twisted ring]. [Nynaeve|Nynaeve alMeara] wants to study [Siuan|Siuan Sanche]'s stilling. [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] has figured out that [Nynaeve|Nynaeve alMeara] and [Elayne|Elayne Trakand] posed as full [Aes Sedai]. [Nynaeve|Nynaeve alMeara] has figured out that [Siuan|Siuan Sanche]'s and [Leane|Leane Sharif]'s enmity is a ruse. Each agrees to give the other what they want. [Nynaeve|Nynaeve alMeara] is pleased with herself that she made a good bargain.

[Elayne|Elayne Trakand] follows [Min|Min Farshaw] to have a talk. [Min|Min Farshaw] had another [viewing|viewings]:

* "Those three you brought with you ([Marigan], [Areina|Areina Nermasiv] and [Nicola|Nicola Treehill]) are trouble."

She guesses that maybe they will carry tales.[8] They discuss [Min|Min Farshaw]'s [viewing|viewings] of [Rand|Rand alThor] tied to [Elayne|Elayne Trakand] and two others.[9] [Min|Min Farshaw] admits that she is one of the others, but she does not know who the third is. They agree to stay friends. They wonder who the third is and [Elayne|Elayne Trakand] is glad that [Aviendha] is with [Rand|Rand alThor]!
