[Nynaeve|Nynaeve alMeara] apologizes for acting foolish.[1] Thirteen women will form a circle around the [Bowl|Bowl of the Winds] - [Talaan din Gelyn], [Metarra din Junalle], [Rainyn], [Naime], [Rysael], [Tebreille din Gelyn South Wind], [Caire din Gelyn Running Wave], [Nynaeve|Nynaeve alMeara], [Elayne|Elayne Trakand], [Aviendha], [Reanne|Reanne Corly], [Kirstian|Kirstian Chalwin] and [Garenia|Zarya Alkaese]. [Caire|Caire din Gelyn Running Wave], who has studied [Bowl|Bowl of the Winds] lore, leads the circle. [Nynaeve|Nynaeve alMeara] and [Elayne|Elayne Trakand] teach the [Windfinders|Sea Folk] how to [link|Linking]. The process of [Linking] is described in detail. [Sareitha|Sareitha Tomares] has studied [Linking] extensively. She implies that she and a few other sisters know how to bring men into a circle![2] [Caire|Caire din Gelyn Running Wave] leads and activates the [Bowl|Bowl of the Winds] using all five [Powers|One Power]. The [Bowl|Bowl of the Winds] starts drawing even more %%ot [saidar|Said]%% and also draws %%ot [saidin|Said]%%! A huge column of both rises into the air. After they finish, they feel more %%ot [saidar|Said]%% and see lightning in the direction of [Ebou Dar]. They think it is the [Forsaken]. They realize that [Mat|Matrim Cauthon] is trapped and they cannot go after him. [Elayne|Elayne Trakand] thinks [Tylin|Tylin Quintara] can take care of herself but she deeply regrets leaving [Mat|Matrim Cauthon], [Thom|Thom Merrilin], [Olver] and [Vanin|Chel Vanin] behind. 

They see a flying monster and kill it. Some think it is [Shadowspawn] but [Elayne|Elayne Trakand] recognizes it as a %%ot [raken]%% and realizes that the [Seanchan|Seanchan (People)] are coming. Holding %%ot [saidar|Said]%% is the fastest way to learn a place so one can [Travel|Weaves#t]. It takes only minutes.[3] They run for the [farm|Farm] so they can all escape.
