Encyclopaedia WoT: Age of Legends Transportation

In the Age of Legends there were wondrous mechanical means of transportation. Jo-cars were efficient four-wheel vehicles. Jumpers and hoverflies could float over the ground. Sho-wings of various sizes flew through the air and could carry massive cargo over vast distances.

In The Shadow Rising
1. TSR,Ch26 - Jonai and his family must use wagons to transport objects of the One Power. The jo-cars, jumpers, hoverflies and sho-wings are gone.
In Lord of Chaos
1. LoC,Ch19 - Rand dreams of huge white things like giant bird wings without the bird sailing across the sky and of shapes like beetles and flattened water drops speeding along the streets.
In Winter's Heart
1. WH,Ch13 - Moridin meets with the other Forsaken near Shayol Ghul. Things from the Age of Legends such as view-walls, shocklances and sho-wings can no longer be made outside of this special place.
