Encyclopaedia WoT: Barashta

One of the major cities of Eharon between the Breaking and the Trolloc Wars. It was located where the Rahad section of Ebou Dar currently stands.

- LoC,Ch20 - The Ogier built a Waygate at Barashta during its construction.
In A Crown of Swords
- ACoS,Ch30 - During the Trolloc Wars, Eharon was one of the least affected nations. For this reason, women who were put out of the White Tower naturally migrated to Barashta though the city was eventually destroyed. This was the beginning of the Kinkin.
- ACoS,Ch39 - Mat and Birgitte exchange a Barashandan oath that no one else understands.
In Winter's Heart
- WH,Ch31 - Mat remembers taking a Sea Folk ship from Allorallen to Barashta.
