Forest of Shadows
The Forest of Shadows, also called the Great Blackwood, lies east of the Mountains of Mist between the Two Rivers and Ghealdan. It is uninhabited and largely impenetrable.

TEotW,Ch4 - Tam tells Rand that a straight line from Tar Valon to Ghealdan would pass just east of the Two Rivers, but it is silly to think that the Aes Sedai going after Logain Ablar would travel cross-country through the Forest of Shadows instead of taking the road through Caemlyn and Lugard.

    1. TDR,Ch35 - Hunters of the Horn Orban and Gann believe the Horn of Valere is in the Forest of Shadows.
    2. TDR,Ch35 - The Forest of Shadows is also called the Great Blackwood.
