Carneira

In the Old Tongue carneira means "first." A borderland term for one's first lover.

    1. NS,Ch16 - Edeyn Arrel was Lan's carneira. Lan is shaken when he learns that she is trying to reunite Malkier.
    2. NS,Ch22 - When Lan summons Lan, he has no intention of meeting her alone because she was his carneira.
    3. NS,Ch25 - Moiraine tells Moiraine that she would not mind Lan as her carneira but she does not want to marry yet.
