An Ebou Dari fisherman. He is married to Setalle Anan. He has three daughters, Marah the eldest and Frielle in the middle. His youngest son is Ross.

Physical Description#

He is square faced and gray haired with lots of dueling scars. (ACoS,Ch17) He is muscular and has lots of dueling scars. (WH,Ch18)

Chronology (Possible Spoilers)#

Jasfer Anan finds Setalle, his future wife, half-starved and sick on the streets of Ebou Dar and takes her home to his mother. (KoD,Ch9)
Jasfer is in The Wandering Woman when Mat returns from the Tarasin Palace. (ACoS,Ch17)
Jasfer takes his family and all his relatives to Illian in his boats. Setalle will meet him there. (WH,Ch29)
