Egwene POV#

Egwene finishes packing. With saidar she weaves Spirit to create a place where the interior of her tent is identical to its image in Tel'aran'rhiod. Picking up her saddlebags she steps through.

She is in Tel'aran'rhiod in the flesh. There is a three-quarters moon. She fixes in her mind what she expects, then walks around the tent and there is Bela. After mounting, she imagines Bela running like the wind and the ground becomes a blur. She notes Caemlyn as she passes. In Altara she slows down and notes some towns by the names of their inns, Marella and Ionin Spring. She reaches Salidar and dismounts. Weaving Spirit, she opens a gateway and returns to the real world.

In Salidar, Egwene asks a woman named Nildra for directions. Nildra takes her to a building where Siuan, Sheriam, Anaiya, Beonin, Carlinya, Morvrin and Myrelle are meeting. They are astounded that she arrived so soon. She is astounded at Siuan. They tell her about Nynaeve's Healing. Elayne is also well. Egwene notes that Sheriam is the strongest, then Myrelle with the rest about the same, but Siuan is by far the weakest. Siuan tells them to get on with it or Romanda, Delana, Faiselle and the rest of the Sitters will have their heads tomorrow. Sheriam tells Egwene that she is to be the next Amyrlin Seat.
