[Elayne] enters and tell her that she's not the first to try to bring people back, many others have, but no one's succeeded.
Plus, it takes more than just one [Aes Sedai] to open the arches. [Egwene] tell her to help her or leave, but [Elayne] refuses.
[Egwene] tries again to open the arches and [Elayne] warns against it citing that she might be hurt or killed, or expelled by the sisters if they catch her.
[Elayne] recounts [Nynaeve]'s journey to the [Tower], including that everyone thought she died but didn't and that she came for [Egwene]'s sake.
[Elayne] asks [Egwene] is the thought that [Nynaeve] would want [Egwene] to throw away her future like this.
[Egwene] wonders how this could have happened because [Nynaeve] was so strong.
[Elayne] says that she'll get some blankets so that they could stay the night.
