Screaming voices, images of [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (Show)] floating around in space wearing a red dress, with hands over her ears, visions of [Lan|Lan (Show)] speaking the words from scene 8 of [Episode 108] and then [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (Show)] being flung out of the arches with two bloodstains on her shirt. [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (Show)] says she doesn't remember what happened. %%blue [Sheriam|Sheriam (Show)]%% pours water on her. %%blue [Leane|Leane (Show)]%% checks [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (Show)] over and declares that the blood is not hers.[Nynaeve|Nynaeve (Show)] opens her hand to discover that she's holding on to [Lan|Lan (Show)]'s [hadori]. %%blue [Sheriam|Sheriam (Show)]%% announces that [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (Show)] is now [Accepted] and gives her an [Aes Sedai] ring, without the stone in it, but [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (Show)] rejects it, saying that if the point of the tests is to trust the [Tower|White Tower] over everything else, then she rejects it. As [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (Show)] leaves the room, %%red [Liandrin|Liandrin (Show)]%% warns her that if she leaves, then she will never be allowed to return. [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (Show)] continues on out.
Inside the third arch, [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (Show)] is engulfed in a chaotic vision: screaming voices fill the air as she floats in a void, wearing a red dress, hands pressed over her ears. Fragmented images of [Lan|Lan (Show)] appear, reciting words from a past moment (Scene 8 - [Episode 108]). Abruptly, [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (Show)] is flung out of the arch, landing back in the [Three Arches] chamber in the [White Tower] with two bloodstains on her shirt. She admits she doesn’t remember what happened. %%blue [Sheriam|Sheriam (Show)]%% pours water over her in a symbolic cleansing, and %%blue [Leane|Leane (Show)]%% examines her, declaring the blood is not hers. [Egwene|Egwene (Show)] comes in asking her not to go, but [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (Show)] tells her that she came to the [Tower|White Tower] for [Egwene|Egwene (Show)], but she doesn't need [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (Show)] anymore and will live up to the true meaning of an [Aes Sedai] ("servants of all").
In her room at the [White Tower], [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (Show)] packs her belongings. [Egwene|Egwene (Show)] enters, pleading with her to stay, but [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (Show)] insists she came to the [Tower|White Tower] for [Egwene|Egwene (Show)]’s sake, and now that [Egwene|Egwene (Show)] no longer needs her, she’ll honor the true meaning of an [Aes Sedai]—"servants of all"—elsewhere.

She tells him that she couldn't stay in the [Tower|White Tower] and is going to return to the [Two Rivers] and he says that he could join her, if she would have him. She asks about %%blue [Moiraine|Moiraine (Show)]%% and the bond, but he doesn't respond. %%blue [Sheriam|Sheriam (Show)]'s%% voice is faintly heard saying "the way back will come but once" and an arch doorway appears. [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (Show)] ignores it and it goes away.
[Nynaeve|Nynaeve (Show)] rides away from the [White Tower], and [Lan|Lan (Show)] gallops up to join her.
