- Alar warns Verin and Rand of the dangers of the Ways, but reluctantly gives them permission to use the Ways. Alar and Juin escort them to the Waygate. (TGH,Ch36)
- Alar and Juin show Verin and Rand the Portal Stone, then leave. (TGH,Ch37)
- Alar tells Covril and Elder Haman that Loial is with Rand and that Rand promised to take care of him. (LoC,Ch20)
