An Aes Sedai of the Brown Ajah. She is about seventy. She is from Far Madding.

She joins the Salidar Aes Sedai and is elected Sitter in the Salidar Hall. She is the oldest of the newly chosen Sitters after Romanda and Moria.

She is dominating even though she is extremely short. (CoT,Ch19)

Lelaine calls an emergency meeting of the Hall. Aledrin, Delana, Escaralde, Faiselle, Janya, Lyrelle, Kwamesa, Malind, Moria, Romanda, Salita, Samalin and Saroiya attend.
