- After she is captured, Accepted such as Mair and Asseil attempt to give orders to Egwene but she refuses to obey. (KoD,Ch24)
- After the Seanchan raid, a tearful Mair reports that she was attending Elaida when the wall fell in on her. The soldiers thought she was dead but Elaida was captured. (TGS,Ch41)
