[Anvaere] begins to reply, but [Moiraine] interrupts, asking [Jhonas] for a bottle of [Ghealdanin|Ghealdan] red wine from the cellar and starting to order a dress. [Anvaere] interrupts, shouting that it’s been decades and insisting [Moiraine] sit for tea. [Moiraine] suggests lunch instead, as she has a meeting this morning, and then departs.

She rises, placing her novice ring on her finger, and opens the door to find [Egwene] standing there. [Egwene] offers [Nynaeve] honeycakes, and they begin to talk. [Egwene] reaches for [Nynaeve]’s novice ring, but [Nynaeve] pulls her hand away. [Egwene] offers her friendship and hugs [Nynaeve], who hesitantly returns the embrace. [Egwene] reassures [Nynaeve] that her experience in the [Three Arches] was not real[4].

She asks what he wants to do now, mentioning that she, [Maksim], and [Ihvon] are heading to the [White Tower] tomorrow, and invites him to join them. [Lan] says he doesn’t know. [Alanna] informs him that [Nynaeve] will go through the [Three Arches] tomorrow, the fastest anyone has done so since [Cadsuane], suggesting [Nynaeve] might soon need a [Warder].
