An Aes Sedai of the Yellow Ajah who teaches in the White Tower. She has no Warder. She is from Tarabon.

She is also Black Ajah; the other two of her Heart are Karale Sanghir and Marris Thornhill.

She is pretty. She wears her dark hair in beaded braids. (CoT,Prologue)

In New Spring
1. NS,Ch3- Tamra summons all Accepted including Atuan to the Oval Lecture Hall where she announces a bounty for women who recently gave birth.
2. NS,Ch4 - The Accepted including Atuan scramble back to their rooms and prepare to leave the White Tower to take the census.
In The Dragon Reborn
1. TDR,Ch48 - Elayne recalls Atuan Sedai saying it is now beyond the power of the White Tower to build anything like the Stone of Tear.
In Crossroads of Twilight
1. CoT,Prologue - Atuan is purportedly Yellow Ajah. She has no Warder. She is from Tarabon.
2. CoT,Prologue - Talene reveals that Atuan is actually Black Ajah and a member of her heart.
