Pronunciation: keh-REEN na-GASH-ee

An Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah. Her Warder are Karile and Stepin. She is one of the searchers sent out by Tamra to find the Dragon Reborn.

Physical Description#

She is tall and slim with a strong beautiful face. She has nearly black eyes. Her dark hair, lightly touched with white, is short. (NS,Ch7) She is about two hundred years old. (New Spring)

Tamra sends Moiraine with an urgent note for Kerene Nagashi. She also sends urgent messages to Aisha Raveneos, Meilyn Arganya, Valera Gorovni and Ludice Daneen. (NS,Ch7)
Kerene lectures Moiraine on Artur Hawkwing. None of the five searchers seems in a hurry to leave. (NS,Ch8)
One by one, Meilyn, Kerene, Aisha, Ludice and Valera leave the White Tower to begin their hunt for the Dragon Reborn. (NS,Ch14)
Kerene falls off a ship in the Alguenya River and drowns, the work of the Black Ajah. (NS,Ch18)
