At Simion's request, Moiraine tries to Heal Noam. Unfortunately, there is nothing human left in him to Heal. At Perrin's suggestion, Simion releases Noam to run free. (TDR,Ch8)
Noam the man dies in the real world and his soul becomes Boundless the wolf in the wolf dream. (ToM,Epilogue)
In the wolf dream, Perrin learns that Boundless was Noam. Noam chose to become a wolf. (ToM,Epilogue)

1. TDR,Ch9 - Perrin is very worried that he will end up like Noam.
In Towers of Midnight
1. ToM,Ch16- Perrin shares with Faile his fear that he will end up like Noam.
2. ToM,Ch24- Elyas chose to leave his life for the wolves. Perrin does not want to and Noam had to.
3. ToM,Ch35- Perrin thinks that their current location is close to where he met Noam.
4. ToM,Ch40- Perrin thinks that he has finally found his balance. He will never end like Noam.
