* [Berdene|Berdene (Show)] wakes his daughter, Siuan, to tell her that it's time to catch the fish. They go out on their boat, anchor it, and then prepare the nets. Siuan helps untangle the net by [channeling|One Power]. [Berdene|Berdene (Show)] anxiously looks around. They talk about how important it is that nobody sees her [channel|One Power]. They come back home with a basket full of fish only to find that their hut has been burned down and a dragon fang painted on a wall. [Berdene|Berdene (Show)] packs Siuan's things, gives her some advice and sends her to the [White Tower]. ([Episode 106])
* Siuan enters the [Hall of the Sitters|White Tower] and sits down. She nods to [Leane|Leane (Show)|Leane (Show)], who then commands that [Logain|Logain (Show)] be brought in. The Tower Guards bring him in, chained, and have him kneel in front of Siuan. She orders him unchained since he poses no threat now that he's gentled. She asks him if he knows why he's here. He responds by telling her that the further away from the [White Tower] you go, the more people say that the [Aes Sedai] are weak. He says that people will remember that he went against nine [Aes Sedai] and manage to kill one. She considers what he said and sees through it, telling him that if he's looking for a death sentence, it's not going to happen. Instead, he will serve as an example to the other false Dragons and will be studied until he loses his mind to the madness. ([Episode 106])
* Siuan tells [Liandrin|Liandrin (Show)], [Alanna|Alanna (Show)|Alanna (Show)] and [Moiraine|Moiraine (Show)|Moiraine (Show)] that [Logain|Logain (Show)] deserved a fair trial before her. She reinforces the principle that [Tower|White Tower] laws exist to protect everyone, not just [Aes Sedai]. She announces that since [Kerene|Kerene (Show)] had fallen, and therefore [Liandrin|Liandrin (Show)] was in charge, that [Liandrin|Liandrin (Show)] should be punished. She asks where [Moiraine|Moiraine (Show)|Moiraine (Show)] has traveled for the past two years and what was the purpose of the travels. [Moiraine|Moiraine (Show)|Moiraine (Show)] responds that she cannot say. Siuan orders her to get on her knees and asks her again, with [Moiraine|Moiraine (Show)|Moiraine (Show)] giving the same response. Siuan, who calls her by her whole name, [Lady Moiraine Damodred|Moiraine (Show)|Moiraine (Show)], takes this as an act of defiance and suggests that she has contempt for those below her and then tells her to put her forehead on the floor, which [Moiraine|Moiraine (Show)|Moiraine (Show)] does. Siuan ends the meeting by saying that she will think on [Moiraine|Moiraine (Show)|Moiraine (Show)]'s penance and announce it the next day. ([Episode 106])
* [Moiraine|Moiraine (Show)|Moiraine (Show)] walks through the doorway and appears in a room where Siuan is sitting on a bed. The room is decorated in a style like Siuan's hut from childhood. Siuan is upset with the "display" that she had to put on earlier in the [Hall|White Tower]. Part of that is because of the appearance of no favorites that she must take. The two then share an intimate moment together. Afterwards, they talk about [Moiraine|Moiraine (Show)|Moiraine (Show)] finding the Dragon, or rather five potential Dragons, in the same village, and also about the various legends of the Dragon. Siuan brings up the [Karaethon Prophecies], but [Moiraine|Moiraine (Show)|Moiraine (Show)] wonders if they're trustyworthy, being 3,000 years old and having been re-translated many times by many different [Aes Sedai]. She even questions [Gitara|Gitara (Show)]'s vision of the baby being born, even though both her and Siuan were there for it. ([Episode 106])
* [Moiraine|Moiraine (Show)|Moiraine (Show)], [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (Show)] and [Egwene|Egwene (Show)] enter Siuan's room. She gives them permission to call her Siuan in here. Siuan praises [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (Show)] [channeling|One Power] strength and [Egwene|Egwene (Show)] for returning the rings. [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (Show)] then asks Siuan what she wants. Siuan tells them that they've been called to greatness and that the fate of everyone rests on them. [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (Show)] responds that they don't want any part of that. Siuan explains that the [Wheel|Wheel of Time] doesn't care what they want and the only thing that matters is what they're going to do. ([Episode 106])
* Siuan pronounces that [Moiraine|Moiraine (Show)|Moiraine (Show)]'s punishment is exile from the [Tower|White Tower]. To ensure that [Moiraine|Moiraine (Show)|Moiraine (Show)] obeys, she is to swear on the [Oath Rod]. Siuan says that [Moiraine|Moiraine (Show)|Moiraine (Show)] must swear to obey the [Amyrlin Seat|Aes Sedai] and to never return until she calls her home. ([Episode 106])
