Scene 3 - Blood Snow#
On the slopes of Dragonmount, Tigraine, pregnant and in labor, defeats six Illian Companions in battle, but not before being stabbed in the side. She grabs a cape and makes her way over to a boulder, puts the cape down, and prepares to give birth. As she is doing so, a seventh Companion, standing in front of her, points his heron-marked sword at her.
Scene 5 - The Ways#
The Two Rivers folk want Moiraine to re-open the Waygate so that Mat can get in, but she doesn't, saying that he made his choice. She remarks that they must continue on, and she and Lan start walking. Loial warns the Two Rivers folk against using the One Power because it will attract Machin Shin and then he leaves to catch up with Moiraine and Lan. The Two Rivers folk agree to find Mat when this is all over, and then they too continue onward.
As they walk along, Loial talks about the history of the Ways and how fruit trees once thrived on each of the "islands" and that the paths connecting the islands were once soft and verdant and covered in grass, but now, if someone were to fall off, they would fall forever.
Perrin tells everyone that he can see something ahead, but none of the others can see what he's talking about. They soon reach a guiding stone, but it has been marred as if someone or something tried to destroy it. Loial says he should be able to read it, but will need some time, so Moiraine says they should all get rest while they can. Lan tells Moiraine that something is following them. The Two Rivers folk eventually fall asleep.
Scene 6 - Machin Shin#
All are asleep, except for Lan. Egwene is awakened by a whistling sound. She wakes up Rand and then they both stand up. A flash of lightning shows a Trolloc jumping onto the island. With a instinctive channeling of the One Power, the Trolloc is sent back over the edge to plummet forever. Egwene apologizes for channeling. Loial says that a Trolloc in the Ways is impossible and Lan says now they know how the Trollocs got to the Two Rivers. Moiraine adds that now they know what happened to the guiding stone. Perrin notices that it just got a lot colder. Loial says that Machin Shin translates to "Black Wind" and Moiraine tells everyone not to listen to what Machin Shin will say to them. Lan says that they won't make it to their intended Waygate and asks Loial how far it is to the Fal Dara one. Moiraine tells Loial to take them there. More lightning flashes. They make it to the island with the Fal Dara Waygate when Machin Shin attacks. It tells the characters the following:
- Moiraine: You're wrong about everything. You'll murder these children and call it heroism.
- Egwene: You're an imposter, a fraud.
- Rand: Egwene will never love you as much a you love her. She left you once and she'll do it again.
- Perrin: You wanted Laila dead, out of the way. You killed her because you loved another woman more than your wife.
- Lan: You can't protect her. You'll watch her die.
- Nynaeve: You'll hear their screams as they die, just like you heard your parents, and you'll do nothing to save them. You lost Mat and you'll lose the others one by one, until you have no one.
Nynaeve then channels a sphere that protects everyone from Machin Shin. This give Moiraine a chance to channel to open the Waygate. Everyone gets out, with Lan grabbing Nynaeve and getting her out. The Waygate closes behind them. Loial tells them that they are at Fal Dara. Moiraine says that the Eye of the World is a day's walk beyond the city.
Scene 7 - Fal Dara#
The group enters Fal Dara and is greeted by Lord Yakota, Uno Nomesta and other guards. Lord Yakota greets Lan as "Dai Shan" and welcomes them on behalf of Lord Agelmar. Uno personally greets Lan. They walk to the throne room. Lord Agelmar greets Lan and then asks Moiraine what she's doing here. She starts to explain, but Lord Agelmar cuts her off, guessing that she's here because his sister, who is in the room, wrote to the White Tower about the encroaching Blight and Trolloc raids. He says that as always, Fal Dara will be able to protect their own. Moiraine responds that they're not here to advise him on how to protect the Gap, but rather to warn him that the Dark One is using the Ways to move his armies and to suggest that he get some men to wall up the Fal Dara Waygate, which he agrees to. He apologizes to Moiraine and says that all of them are welcome there as long as they wish.
Scene 8 - Deliver a Message#
Lady Amalisa Jagad, sister of Lord Agelmar, is escorting Moiraine to her chambers. Moiraine asks if Min is still in the city as she'd like to visit her. Lady Amalisa asks why she'd like to visit the Seer and Moiraine responds "why not?". Lady Amalisa asks Moiraine if she would answer why she was in the Ways. Moiraine notes that Lady Amalisa trained in the Tower, but only attained Accepted, and asks is she can still be trusted. Lady Amalisa says that her allegiance is with Fal Dara. Moiraine asks if Lady Amalisa would deliver a message for her to the Red Ajah: find Mat.

They all enter a tavern and take a seat at a table. Rand and Perrin discuss the Way of the Leaf. Nynaeve notes that Moiraine is talking with Min.
Moiraine and Min are talking at the bar. Min asks if the rest of them know what she is and Moiraine answers that no one does, thanks to the Aes Sedai, otherwise she would be constantly hounded or worse. Min tell her what she sees:
- Perrin has yellow eyes and blood on his chin
- Rand is holding a baby
- Egwene and/or Nynaeve: white flame, ring of gold

They discuss whether she is right and whether they will go or not. Moiraine tells them to make a decision, because they're leaving at dawn.
Scene 11 - The Only Woman I've Ever Loved#
Rand, Egwene, Perrin and Nynaeve discuss how much they trust Moiraine and how much they trust her information. It devolves into a discussion about Mat with Egwene saying that he left them. Rand replies that she's an expert at leaving, which causes Perrin to say that Rand owes her an apology. Nynaeve intervenes, telling Rand and Perrin to stop fighting over Egwene. Tensions rise and everyone eventually leaves the room.
Scene 12 - Purpose#
Moiraine worries that she's taken too much from Lan. Lan assures her that she has given him something to live and die for, which he did not have before. As he is leaving, she remarks that she likes Nynaeve.

He senses that Nynaeve is still outside, so he leaves around back and sneaks up behind her, surprising her. He invited her inside to join him and she accepts.
Scene 14 - Should I Stay Or Should I Go#
After dinner, Lan and Nynaeve walk back together to his door. After a long silence, he bids her goodnight and goes into his room. About a minute later Nynaeve opens his door and enters. She asks him if he wants her to go and he kisses her in response. They then share an intimate moment.

He encourages her to go to the White Tower for training and says that he'd be her Warder. She promises to stand by him if he's the Dragon Reborn.
Scene 16 - Dai Shan#
In Lan's room, he is asleep and Nynaeve is putting her braid back together. He wakes up and notices that she's preparing to leave. She asks him why he is called Dai Shan. He explains that it's the title for future kings of Malkier, but that doesn't matter anymore since Malkier was taken by the Blight when he was a child. He says that his family was killed and he was smuggled out the night the Blight took over. The family he visited last night were the ones who smuggled him out and brought him to Fal Dara. She says she now understands that he bonded with Moiraine for a sense of belonging. He tells her that Moiraine does not own her the same way the rest of the Two Rivers group does not own her. He then asks her to stay the rest of the night.

She then says for him to look her in the eye and tell her that he wants to know what she has to say. She tell him about the first vision she ever had, which was a man in armor carrying Rand's heron-marked blade.
We switch back to the scene in the cold open, with Tam helping Tigraine give birth, and her dying soon afterwards. Min continues, saying she saw a baby born on the slopes of Dragonmount, with Tam raising this child in the Two Rivers and that the baby was "something impossible."
Rand asks Min what she sees now, and she answers "rainbows, carnivals and three beautiful women." He also asks her if he makes it back from the Eye of the World, but she doesn't answer and just grabs a bottle and stands up.

Nynaeve asks them what they have decided to do and they both want to go to the Eye of the World. Egwene asks where Rand is and Perrin says he assumed he was with her.
Scene 20 - Into the Blight#
Notes (Possible Spoilers)#
We know that they are Illian Companions because of the seven bees on their breastplates.
Due to his connection with the wolves.
It was actually Rand that did it.
During one of those flashes, Padan Fain can be seen.
We don't find out what Machin Shin told Loial, if anything.
Plus a bit more which we discover in Scene 17.
In the Bonus Content, under Episode Stills, there's an image of Padan Fain holding a Waygate trefoil leaf key.
Note that Min just says Amyrlin and not Siuan Sanche. This could refer to a future Amyrlin.
Leaving out the actual names here for now.
