[Perrin|Perrin Aybara] realizes this must be [Geofram Bornhald]'s son. He notes that [Dain|Dain Bornhald] appears drunk. He recognizes [Jaret Byar] as well. [Bran|Brandelwyn alVere] tells [Dain|Dain Bornhald] that [Emond's Field|Emonds Field] will take care of itself. [Dain|Dain Bornhald] angrily tells them that [Taren Ferry] was wiped out last night. Many people escaped across the river. [Dain|Dain Bornhald] lost fifty men. [Luc|Luc Mantear] seems surprised at this and questions [Dain|Dain Bornhald] further asking if [Ordeith|Padan Fain] was there. [Dain|Dain Bornhald] is surprised that [Luc|Luc Mantear] knows [Ordeith|Padan Fain].
