- When Fain slices Rand with the ruby dagger Samitsu partially Heals him saving his life. When Flinn does even more she wants to learn from him. (ACoS,Ch36)
- She is by Rand's side with Corele and Cadsuane when he wakes. (ACoS,Ch41)
- When Cadsuane leads an expedition to Far Madding to find Rand, she leaves Samitsu in charge of the Sun Palace. (CoT,Prologue)
