- Rhuarc and Mangin bring in a band of young Tairen and Cairhienin nobles who escaped the Shaido siege. (TFoH,Ch30)
- Mangin is with clan chiefs when Rand approaches the observation tower. Rand thinks that he could have been friends with Mangin. (TFoH,Ch41)
- Mangin kills a Cairhienin man for tattooing a dragon on his arm. Rand enforces his law and orders Mangin hanged. (LoC,Ch17)
