A pass that marks the boundary between the Mountains of Dhoom and the Spine of the World.

In The Eye of the World
1. TEotW,Ch46 - Ingtar Shinowa tells Lan that scouts have reported a build-up of Trolloc forces in the Blight. They plan to stop them at Tarwin's Gap.
2. TEotW,Ch48 - Troops from Fal Dara ride to Tarwin's Gap to do battle.
3. TEotW,Ch51 - After fleeing Aginor, Rand finds himself at the battle at Tarwin's Gap and destroys the Trolloc army.
4. TEotW,Ch53 - The Shienaran forces were victorious at Tarwin's Gap, with a little help from Rand.

1. TGH,Ch9 - Changu and Nidao saved Lord Agelmar Jagad at Tarwin's Gap.
In Knife of Dreams
1. KoD,Ch20 - In the Trolloc Wars the Shadow used Tarwin's Gap to move armies of Trollocs from the Blight.
2. KoD,Ch20 - After Nynaeve drops him at World's End, Lan rides for Fal Moran and Tarwin's Gap gathering followers as he goes.
In The Gathering Storm
1. TGS,Ch31 - Rand asks Nynaeve if Lan is riding to Tarwin's Gap. She admits that he is. Rand refuses to supply him with any help.
2. TGS,Ch42 - There are reports that Trollocs are massing in the Blight so they are probably at Tarwin's Gap as well.
