- Twenty or so Maidens including Liah stand guard around Rand in the courtyard of the Royal Palace in Caemlyn while he practices the sword. (LoC,Ch1)
- Liah is one of the Maidens who travels with Rand and Taim to the farm. (LoC,Ch3)
- Liah goes with Rand to his army's camp near Tear and then back to Caemlyn. (LoC,Ch4)
- When Rand returns to Caemlyn, Liah and Cassin accompany Aviendha and him back to his quarters. Liah jibes Aviendha about Rand when she leaves. (LoC,Ch19)
- Liah and Cassin accompany Rand as he goes to meet with Elder Haman, Covril and Erith. (LoC,Ch20)
- Liah goes to Shadar Logoth with Rand and becomes lost. (LoC,Ch21)
- Rand encounters Liah when he follows Sammael to Shadar Logoth. She has been corrupted by the evil of Aridhol (City). He balefires her rather than let Mashadar have her. (ACoS,Ch41)
