She has gray hair and a leathery face. (LoC,Prologue) She is hawk-faced and taller than most men. She has deep blue eyes. (ACoS,Ch40) She is a span tall. She is a stern, blue-eyed eagle. (WH,Ch4) She has dark red hair streaked with white. (CoT,Ch9)
Chronology (Possible Spoilers)#
- Sevanna, Therava and Desaine meet with Coiren and the rest of the Aes Sedai embassy to Rand. (LoC,Prologue)
- Sevanna, Therava and Emerys show up at the Wise Ones' tents near Cairhien. Sevanna is now acknowledged as a Wise One. (LoC,Ch32)
- Therava confirms to Sevanna that she and the other Wise Ones can duplicate that Aes Sedai weaves that bind Rand. She then participates in the murder of Desaine. (LoC,Ch53)
- Therava is with Sevanna during the attack on the Aes Sedai holding Rand at Dumai's Wells. (ACoS,Prologue)
- Nine days after the battle at Dumai's Wells, Therava and a large group of Shaido Wise Ones and Maidens arrive at Sevanna's camp. They bring Galina with them. When Sammael scatters the Shaido she goes with Sevanna's group to Ghealdan. (ACoS,Ch40)
- Therava leads a group of Wise Ones who take partial power from Sevanna. Galina swears to obey Wise Ones with Sevanna and Therava first among them. Therava keeps the binder. (TPoD,Ch11)
- Therava and Someryn bring Galina along to view Faile and the other new gai'shain. The Wise Ones have a contest of wills with Sevanna. Later, Therava sets Faile, Alliandre and Maighdin to spy on Sevanna. (WH,Ch4)
- Therava futilely argues with Sevanna that they must leave Malden and flee the powerful channeling to the north. (CoT,Ch9)
- Therava lets Galina ride outside Malden and tells her to return before nightfall. She punishes Galina severely when she is late. (KoD,Prologue)
- Sevanna and Therava argue over whether or not to stay in Malden. Therava believes Couladin was the true Car'a'carn and she wants to return to the Three-fold Land. She is infuriated when the binder is stolen from her tent. (KoD,Ch5)
- After the fall of Malden, Therava, Modarra, Belinde and other Wise Ones lead several hundred Shaido to return to the Three-fold Land. (KoD,Ch30)
