Physical Description#
She is plumply pretty and more than twice Egwene's age. (LoC,Ch36) She is stout with a merry smile, in her mid thirties. (ACoS,Ch8) She is dark-haired, plump, pretty, and in her middle years. (TPoD,Ch16)
Chronology (Possible Spoilers)#
- When Egwene arrives in Salidar, Chesa is assigned to be her maid. The next morning Chesa helps her dress and puts pillows in her chair when she notes Egwene's bruises. (LoC,Ch36)
- Chesa scrubs Egwene's back in her bath. (LoC,Ch37)
- Chesa continues to put pillows on Egwene's chair even though she no longer needs them. (LoC,Ch39)
- After Chesa serves her dinner, Egwene sends Chesa to her own small tent before sleeping. She plans to visit Tel'aran'rhiod. (LoC,Ch52)
- Chesa listens to part of Egwene's conversation with Sheriam and Siuan then follows her when she goes from her study to Marigan's tent finding it empty. (ACoS,Ch8)
- She tells Egwene her headaches come from too little sleep. (ACoS,Ch9)
- Now that Halima stays in Egwene's tent, Chesa, Meri and Selame share a small tent nearby. (TPoD,Ch15)
- While serving Egwene, Chesa complains that Meri has wandered off. (TPoD,Ch16)
- Chesa brings dinner to Egwene and Siuan before the meeting of the Hall. (TPoD,Ch19)
- Sheriam, Siuan and Chesa accompany Egwene as they prepare to Travel to Tar Valon. Chesa complains about Meri and Selame having "run off." (TPoD,Ch30)
- After long arguments with the Hall, Chesa brings Egwene her dinner then helps her into her robe. The next morning she brings Egwene her breakfast. (CoT,Ch20)
- Chesa brings meals to Egwene while she works. (CoT,Ch30)
- Chesa cannot stop weeping when she thinks Egwene is dead. (KoD,Ch1)
- Chesa keeps Egwene's tent neat and still weeps over her missing mistress. (TGS,Ch25)
