A high ranking officer of the Children of the Light and an Inquisitor of the Hand of the Light. He has a large family including two sisters, Dealda and Vanora.

Physical Description#
He is tall. He is gray at the temples but hard-faced and hard-eyed. (TSR,Ch38) He has dark, deep-set eyes. (LoC,Prologue) He has a steely face and deep-set eyes. (ACoS,Ch15)

- Bors attends the Darkfriend social. Ba'alzamon shows images of Rand, Mat and Perrin and gives detailed instructions to all his guests including Bors. (TGH,Prologue)
- Jaichim Carridin commands the Whitecloak forces in Tarabon. (TGH,Ch5)
- Carridin sends orders to Geofram Bornhald to back away from Toman Head. (TGH,Ch29)
- Carridin reports to Pedron Niall that the debacle at Falme was Geofram Bornhald's fault and that the Seanchan (People) are Darkfriends aided by Aes Sedai. Niall orders him to prevent Rand from coming to harm. A Fade then orders him to kill Rand. (TDR,Prologue)
- Carridin negotiates with King Andric and several other Taraboner lords to take control of the Panarch's Palace for Amathera. (TSR,Ch38)
- Liandrin establishes herself as Carridin's new boss and orders him to keep control of the Panarch's Palace. (TSR,Ch38)

- Carridin sends a note to Elayne through Tylin. The note offers to take her to Amador where Morgase is a guest of Pedron Niall. Elayne thinks it is a lie and is infuriated. (ACoS,Ch30)
