They are tall, barefoot with arms, legs and body wound about in layers of yellow or red cloth. Too graceful to be human and too thin for its height, with a narrow, elongated face and straight black hair. Its pupils look like black, vertical slits. Its skin looks like snake scales. They have breathy voice and a harsh way of pronouncing their words. ([TSR,Ch15]).
! Eelfinn
They are tall and sinewy, with shoulders too wide for their narrow waist. The skin is very white. Their eyes are large and almost colorless and set deep. The face is narrow-jawed. They have short-cut, palely reddish hair which stands up like a brush and pointed ears. They have sharp teeth. Females have their hair spilling down their backs. ([TSR,Ch24])
They are dressed on their arms and bare chest with crisscrossed pale leather straps studded with silver, with a black kilt which goes to their knees. Others are dressed in white, long skirts with females wearing white blouses, with high lace necks and pale ruffles at their wrists and the males wearing more straps with bronze blades attached. ([TSR,Ch24]) The straps look like skin ([ToM,Ch54])
