The play comes to an end with [Walishen]'s death. In addition to several of the [Kin], [Dyelin|Dyelin Taravin], [Conail Northan], [Catalyn Haevin] and [Sylvase Caeren] are there along with [Ellorien|Ellorien Traemane]. [Sylvase|Sylvase Caeren] is annoyed that [Ellorien|Ellorien Traemane] is there. Her secretary has been questioning the prisoners but with no information so far. [Elayne|Elayne Trakand] recalls that [Ispan|Ispan Shefar] seemed to be under some sort of [Compulsion|Weaves#co].[1] [Elayne|Elayne Trakand] suddenly has an idea how to get around that problem. [Birgitte|Birgitte Trahelion] will not like it but she is not there. She speaks briefly with [Ellorien|Ellorien Traemane] as she leaves, hoping that she will recall [Gaebril|Rahvin]'s true identity and the years of mutual respect she and [Morgase|Morgase Trakand] had before. [Kaila Bent] tells her that [Birgitte|Birgitte Trahelion] is with [Mat|Matrim Cauthon]. In her rooms, she dons a black cloak and weaves [Fire|One Power] and [Air|One Power] for the [Mirror of Mists|Weaves#mi] to disguise herself as something creepy. She feels safe visiting the [Black Ajah] alone because of [Min|Min Farshaw]'s [viewing|viewings]. She [Travels|Weaves#t] to [Chesmal|Chesmal Emry]'s cell in the dungeons and pretends to be a [Forsaken]. [Chesmal|Chesmal Emry] is taken in and tells her one of the two they seek, [Mat|Matrim Cauthon], is in [Caemlyn] and they are planning an assassination. They are almost in position for the invasion of [Andor].[2]
