- Therava punishes Galina, singeing off her hair and hanging her upside down to beat her. Galina continues to serve Sevanna. (KoD,Ch5)
- Faile tells Galina she has the binder and, after a fight, they agree to meet the next morning. (KoD,Ch26)
- Galina rigs a trap in a burned out house in Malden. After luring Faile and her friends there and getting the binder, she collapses the building. She heads out of Malden to get her stash of supplies. (KoD,Ch28)
- Therava catches Galina just as she is changing clothes to ride away. Therava tells her to never again touch the binder or try to escape. Galina carries a heavy load as the Shaido start back to the Three-fold Land. (KoD,Ch30)
