- Dapple, Burn, Hopper and Wind join Elyas Machera while he talks with Perrin and Egwene. (TEotW,Ch23)
- Perrin, Egwene and Elyas Machera travel southeast accompanied by Dapple, Hopper and Wind. (TEotW,Ch25)
- Dapple continues to follow the TuathaAn, but Burn and Wind are becoming more reluctant. Hopper follows Dapple. (TEotW,Ch27)
- Hopper and Wind are wounded by attacking ravens. (TEotW,Ch29)
- Dapple, Wind and Hopper avoid the Whitecloaks when they approach. Hopper kills one of the Whitecloaks when he attacks Perrin. Another Whitecloak kills Hopper. (TEotW,Ch30)
- Hopper meets Perrin in the wolf dream. He warns Perrin of extreme danger and finally attacks him to force him out. (TDR,Ch9)

- Perrin practices with Hopper when they hear calls of distress. Oak Dancer, Boundless and Sparks are trapped in the violet dome. Sparks is wounded and Whisperer is dead. (ToM,Ch28)
- Hopper teaches Perrin about nightmares. They sense a storm atop Dragonmount. Perrin goes but Hopper cannot follow. (ToM,Ch30)

- Only Hopper, Boundless, Oak Dancer and Sparks are left in the wolf dream. All the other wolves have gone north. Perrin kills Oak Dancer and wounds Sparks, but Sparks finds the dreamspike and Perrin takes it. (ToM,Ch35)
